Let's be honest for a second: before a night out, there's always that moment. The one where excitement gives way to chaos, where the bed disappears under clothes, and where nothing seems to work out 😅
If you recognize yourself in at least 5 out of 10 sentences, welcome to the club...

1. "I have nothing to wear..."

Even though the closet is overflowing.
The classic phrase. The timeless one. The one we say before every night out, without exception.

2. "Wait, I'm just trying one last look"

Spoiler: it will never be the last one.
There will be at least three more attempts after that.

3. "No, but it looked better earlier"

The mystery of the mirror.
The outfit was perfect 5 minutes ago... and suddenly, not at all.

4. "I'm going to be late"

Said while still in pajamas, makeup half-done, hair tied up any old way.

5. "Is this too dressed up?"

Or the opposite: "Is this not enough?"
The great anxiety: being either the most overdressed or the most casual at the party.

6. "Should I take off the jacket... or keep it on?"

Existential dilemma.
Because it's gorgeous, but you never know if you'll actually need it.

7. "I'm going to wear heels"

A phrase often followed by:
"...well, I'll take my sneakers just in case."

8. "Okay, I give up"

Moment of total discouragement.
(Fortunately, it rarely lasts more than 2 minutes.)

9. "Fine... whatever, I'll wear this."

The moment of total resignation.
After 45 minutes of trying on clothes, you choose an outfit out of spite, just to finally leave. Not convinced, but determined.

10. "Actually... it's fine, I like this outfit."

Once dressed, ready to go out, you look at yourself one last time in the mirror... and finally, you think it looks great. Which goes to show, the "default" outfit often turns out to be the right one.

💖 Moral of the story

Before a night out, we doubt, we hesitate, we try on, we take off, we put back on... and that's totally normal.
But deep down, the right outfit isn't the one that follows all the rules, it's the one in which you feel good, beautiful, and self-confident.
