This season, we definitely want to chill in the coziest of our sweaters or under our favorite blanket with a hot tea. As a Sunday program, it's perfect! But for the rest of the week, we have to find what to wear and that's sometimes not easy this season. To give you a helping hand, here's an overview of the pieces to adopt for a stylish and cozy winter.
Soft sweaters and vests
If there was only one piece to select for this season, it would be this one: the cozy sweater! There are some for all tastes, chunky knit, oversized, fitted, turtleneck, V-neck... In short, you're bound to find what you're looking for! In recent years, the trend has been oversized and we like it (comfort above all!).
Choose it plain, patterned, in sober or colorful colors. The material is also an important criterion. Sweaters made of wool, mohair, cashmere are very soft and keep you warm but some can itch. The short trench coat
The short, timeless and elegant trench coat is making a comeback this fall! It comes in plain or patterned (we love leopard and burgundy of course!). It adapts perfectly to the season and is a good alternative to the long trench coat.
The perfecto
An essential to have in your wardrobe, which we take out every year at this season: the perfecto. We love it for its rock side and we don't hesitate to match it with all styles. This year, the big fall color is burgundy. So we love the MY1996 burgundy perfecto!
Ballerinas with straps
Ballerinas, whether you love them or hate them, remain a totally seasonal piece! This year with the straps, they are back in force with a touch of modernity. We take the opportunity to wear flats and give our boots a little break before not taking them off all winter!
Oversized jeans
As you can see, oversize and MY1996 are one and the same! We love the associated “nonchalant” look and especially the comfort of not being tight in jeans!
This year, the big trend is leopard jeans. However, we are obviously crazy about the timeless traditional jeans to slip into our wardrobe.
Fall accessories
In addition to these seasonal key pieces, fall is also the ideal season to curl up in a big, soft scarf. In recent years, mittens have also made a big comeback and are perfectly suited to the season when it's cool but not yet the freezing cold of winter!
If we had to sum up our advice for a comfortable and stylish fall, we would say oversize, soft materials, burgundy and leopard!
